Caligo Arts is a design and development studio that builds custom software, AI tools and websites for small businesses — and runs five products of its own.
Everything we sell is something we use to run our own business every day. That is why the proof on this site is software you can try right now rather than promises about what we could build.
What we do
- Custom software and tools — internal tools, customer apps, integrations and AI features, scoped in writing at a fixed price and handed over as code you own.
- AI integration — documented procedures and AI assistance connected to the tools a business already uses, starting with an operations audit.
- Our own products — AIOS, the AI Council, AIOS Receipts, Memories Journal and AIOS Skills.
- Websites and hosting — design, hosting, search optimization and ongoing care.
- Computer repair and custom PCs — diagnostics, repairs and custom-built machines, remote or on site.
- Digital art and game development — illustration, branding, game assets and playable projects.
How we work
- In writing, at a fixed price. You describe the job; we send back a written scope and a quote before any work starts.
- From how the work is really done. For process work, the people who do each task record their screen once and send it over — no long meetings needed.
- Yours when it is done. Code, data and documentation are handed over, and hosting and support are there if you want them.
- Tested before it ships. Our own products run more than 6,000 automated checks before any change goes live, and client work gets the same discipline.
- Honest about the alternative. If an app you can buy already does the job, we will tell you to buy it.
The name
Caligo is Latin for darkness. Our line — where inspiration and imagination light the way for creativity and innovation — comes from it: most of the work is finding a clear path through a problem that starts out murky.
Our history
- 2020 — Caligo Arts founded as a web design and development studio, working fully remotely.
- 2021 — CaligoArts.com launched as a showcase for web design, game development and development notes.
- 2022 — Tanks for Fun: Road Rage Edition released as a free demo on Unity Play.
- 2024 — CaligoArts.com redesigned from scratch.
- June 2026 — Work began on AIOS, an AI Chief of Staff; in production by July.
- August 2026 — The AIOS open beta, and the launch of AI integration services.
- September 2026 — AIOS Receipts, Memories Journal, the public AI Council and AIOS Skills; payments live across every product; custom software services.
