Tools for AIOS

AIOS itself is free and stays free — your notes, capture, the calendar, routines, the plan, the Daily Brief, search, projects and private notes are all yours on every plan. What is on this page is the work that sits on top of it: the AI assistant, the writing tools, and tools built for one business rather than for everybody.

AIOS Receipts

Free 14-day trial

Photograph a receipt and it becomes an expense row: merchant, date, total, tax, tip and a category. Every field says where it came from — read off the receipt, worked out from the others, or guessed — so you know which numbers to check. Editable line by line, with your own notes, and it exports to a real Excel workbook, to CSV, or to the file Zoho Expense imports.

It never asks a model. A number you file with a tax return should have an answer to “why does it say 42.17”, and a deterministic parse has one.

The AI assistant

Paid plan

Ask AIOS a question in the prompt box and it answers with your own notes in front of it. It works out what a request actually needs first, so most questions take one cheap call and the ones that could go stale are checked against live sources and cross-checked by a second model.

The prompt box works on every plan — typing “dentist Tuesday at 2pm” or “finished the report” is deterministic and always has been. What a paid plan adds is the answer.

Writing tools

Paid plan

Turn a note into a Standard Operating Procedure your team can follow, or into an article for the Developer’s Notebook. Plus the prompt builder and the Claude Code handoff, which hand your day to another tool without retyping it.

Built for your business

The tools above are the ones everybody gets. The more useful ones are usually the ones that only make sense in one business — the form your staff fill in, the report your accountant wants, the checklist that keeps a job from being done three different ways.

That is the work Caligo Arts actually does: documented operations, with AI doing the typing and a system that will not invent things. AIOS is the system we customise. If you can describe the job, we can usually tell you within a call whether it is worth building — including when it is not.

Custom tools can be attached to your AIOS account, or run entirely on your own hardware if that is what your data needs.

The catalogue — coming soon

Tools that started as one business’s custom build and turned out to be worth offering to everybody will be listed here, each one buyable on its own or included with a plan. AIOS Receipts is the first of them, and it started exactly that way — somebody asked for it.

If there is a tool you want and it is not here, that is the most useful thing you can tell us.
